Charles Brock Turner, 82, entered into rest on Saturday, August 10, 2013.
Mr. Turner was born on September 17, 1930 in Carrollton, Georgia. He served his country in the United States Air Force, graduated from Auburn University, and later retired civil service from Robins Air Force Base where he worked for twenty-six years as Chief Architect. He owned CB Turner and Associates, a private architectural firm. He was a Registered Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He adored his family, loved to play tennis and was an avid fisherman. Trinity United Methodist Church was his church home. His parents, Lewis and Mary Turner and sister, Nancy Hansard preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Martha Ann Turner; sons, Brock Turner, Jr. (Vanessa), Kathleen; Jeff Turner (Connie), Cohutta; and Brandon Turner (Theresa), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Dillon Turner, Austin Turner, Ross Turner, Benjamin Turner, Elizabeth Turner, Anna Turner and William Turner.
Visitation will be Monday, August 12, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in the chapel of Trinity United Methodist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018.
