Charles Earnest Law

January 10, 1932 — August 10, 2023

Charles Earnest Law, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

Charles was born on January 10, 1932, in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Neal Washington Law and Gladys Davis Law. After serving in the United States Navy in Korea for four years, he moved to Warner Robins and began a career in civil engineering at Warner Robins Air Force Base, where he worked for 38 years. Charles was a strong Christian and a long-time member of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins. He was a loving father and dear husband. Second only to his love and commitment to Jesus Christ, family was most important to him. His hobbies included: a love of fishing, he was an exceptional woodworking craftsman, a passionate Braves fan, and a past member of the Centerville Lions Club. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy "Boots" Detamore, Frances Duckworth, and Betty Purser, great-grandchild, Everett Conor Minick, as well as his first wife, Geneva Lola Feeney Law.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Florence Minick Law; daughter, Neva Jill Law Walker (Paschal Neal Walker, Jr.); stepchildren, William Ronald Minick (Diane S. Minick), and Ann Minick Kutzman (Jim Kutzman); grandsons, Neal Craig Walker (Angie Migliore Walker), Kenneth Justin Minick, Keith Russell Minick (Kimberly Graham Minick), Stefen Kutzman (Heather Northcutt Kutzman), along with 5 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Charles will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
