Charles Edward "Chuck" Williams, Jr.

Charles Williams, Jr., 62, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018.

Chuck was born on September 7, 1955 in Macon, Georgia and grew up in Putnam County on the Lake. Following graduation from Putnam County High School, he proudly served in the United States Navy. Later, Chuck began working at Robins Air Force Base as an Aircraft Mechanic where he retired after over 30 years of civil service. He had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson motorcycles, he enjoyed riding as well as working on them. However, his greatest joy came from his beloved family. Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Williams, father, Charles Edward Williams, Sr., and sister, Trisha McLain.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 32 years, Norma Williams of Byron; son, Michael Williams (Elizabeth Robins) of Warner Robins; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Williams of Bonaire; granddaughter, Madison Williams; mother, Mildred Williams of Montrose; sister, Linda Williams of Montrose, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Farmhouse at McCullough. A ceremony will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. where military honors will be rendered.
