Charles Allen Hickman (77), of Warner Robins, passed away peacefully on June 22nd, 2026 after a long illness. Born in Thomaston, Ga, Allen’s family relocated to Warner Robins, where he attended Warner Robins High School. For a number of years, Allen and his father operated Hickman Oil Company, and Hickman Communications in Warner Robins. He also owned and operated Hickman Homebuilders where he built well over 50 homes. Allen then became a real estate agent. Allen was involved with civic organizations in Warner Robins, including the Warner Robins Jaycees where he was recognized as a JCI Senator, as well as the Warner Robins Civitan Club.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margie Hickman, as well as his grandchildren, Ethan, Connor, and Samantha Christmas. Allen is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat Wachowiak Hickman, as well as his children Scott (Mimi) Hickman of Atlanta, Wendi (Chip) Williams of Warner Robins, Cathy (Sam) Christmas of Warner Robins, and grandchildren Luke and Josh Williams, as well as Cate Christmas. In addition, he is survived by his sister Vicki (Dannie) Smith, brother Mark (Kathy) Hickman, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church where he was a member at 1 pm on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, with a graveside service at Parkway Memorial Gardens immediately following. Visitation will be held at McCullough Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, June 24th from 6 – 8 PM. Pastor Pete LeBorious and Jerry Bisping will officiate the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions in Allen’s name to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Warner Robins.
