Charles Wallace Johnson

Charles Wallace Johnson, 70, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Charles was born on March 10, 1953, in Athens, Georgia to the late H. Wallace and Louise S. Johnson. He was a longtime employee of Robins Air Force Base, where he worked for 30 years as an IT Technician. Charles was not only a beloved husband of 48 years to his late wife, Lari, but he was also a wonderful father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He had a unique sense of humor and was often known as a jokester. A very athletic man, he enjoyed softball in his younger years and later in life, enjoyed tennis and eventually became the president of the Warner Robins Tennis Association. His presence will be deeply missed by those he loved.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Lari Sue Johnson and son, Jeffrey Johnson.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Kathleen; grandson, Zachary Johnson of Kathleen; siblings, Danny Johnson (Donna) of Kathleen and Susan Cerka of Bonaire along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, January 8, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
