Cordele – Cherry Watson Fletcher, 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Americus, Georgia.

Mrs. Fletcher was born on August 27, 1932 in Centerville, Georgia, to the late Hubert Hill Watson, Sr. and Mary Sasser Watson. After graduating with a Bachelors Degree, she worked as Treasurer for Electra Systems, Inc. First Baptist Church of Warner Robins was her church home.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Edwin Ray Fletcher, Lake Blackshear; daughter, Catherine Fletcher Reynolds (George), Lee County; son, Edwin Ray Fletcher, Jr., (Shelly), Flowery Branch; grandson, George A. Reynolds VII, Lee County; brother, Hubert Hill Watson, Jr.(Evelyn), Lake Blackshear; sister Phyllis Watson Quirk (Daniel), Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Hugh DeLoach and Pastor Brian Myers will officiate. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the services from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
