Cheryl Paulette Baker, 73, entered into rest on Friday, August 7, 2026.

She was born on May 17, 1953, in Hawkinsville, Georgia, to the late Lloyd and Glenda Dooley Miller. Cheryl was a fighter and a very strong-willed woman. Up until her final moments, she remained one of the strongest women anyone could have known. When life challenged her, she never gave up easily. Cheryl faced difficult days with determination and a strength that defined who she was.

Even as her body grew tired, her spirit remained strong. That strength is one of the greatest gifts she leaves behind for all who knew and loved her. Cheryl’s life reminds us to keep fighting, to keep loving, and to keep going—even when life becomes difficult.

Her strength, courage, love, and unwavering spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends and will never be forgotten. Cheryl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duane Keith Baker; sister, Marcy Puckett, and brothers, Lloyd Miller and William Miller.

Her memory will forever be treasured by loving children, Amanda Danielle Forrester, Nicolas George Stathas, and Samantha Faye Kimball; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation with Cheryl’s family will be Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Assembly at Warner Robins with a funeral service celebrating her life immediately following. After the service, Cheryl will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
