Christene ''Chris'' Arbuckle

Christene “Chris” Arbuckle, 70, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2004. Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Monday, March 15 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will take place at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 17 in Brevard Memorial Park located in Brevard County, FL. Visitation will be Sunday, March 14 from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Arbuckle was born into a Creek Indian heritage on August 25, 1933 in Opp, AL.
She was a devoted homemaker, an Eternal Mother, who had a part in the raising of 16 children. As a member of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, she participated in the Joy Jubilee Sunday School class. Her father, Robert Lee West; mother, Minnie Lee Merritt West; and daughter, Joyce A. Bata, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Arbuckle, Warner Robins; daughter, Janice L. Bloomer, Merritt Island, FL; sons: Dennis E. Arbuckle, Marshallville, GA; and Robert L. Arbuckle, Kissimmee, FL.; sister, Irene Senn, Troy AL; brother, Roy E. West, Marshallville, GA.; eight grandchildren; Jeremey W. Bata, Macon, GA; Emily Arbuckle, Kissimmee, FL; Brian E. Arbuckle, McDonough, GA; Valerie F. Arbuckle, Cocoa, FL; Rebecca A. Arbuckle, Montclair, NJ; Robert W. Arbuckle, Kissimmee, FL; Christina L. Bloomer, Tallahassee, Fl; and Emily J. Arbuckle, Marshallville, GA.; and 4 great-grandchildren, Jonathan; Katlynn; Dylan; and Jacob.
