Christine Hunter Fracchia

1953 – 2023

On Thursday, March 23, 2023, our Lord welcomed my twin sister Chris into Everlasting Life. She was born at Scott AFB, Illinois on Thursday, April 9, 1953, to Mary and Mario Fracchia who preceded her in death.

She graduated Ritenour High School in St. Louis, Missouri in 1971. She studied nursing at the Barnes Hospital School of Nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse in August 1973.

She worked as a Registered Nurse at hospitals in St. Louis, Pensacola, Mobile, Dallas, and at Orlando. She loved working with the children in pediatrics and the infants in neonatal. She retired in 1995 due to Multiple Sclerosis. She moved to Pensacola, FL to be with her parents. In 2015 she moved with her dad to her twin brother’s home in Warner Robins, GA where she remained until her death. She is survived by her twin, Alex Fracchia, in Warner Robins, GA.

Chris enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, and decorating. She had a particularly good eye choosing colors and styles which go together. She enjoyed picking out new furniture, pictures, and other items for our home in Warner Robins. She enjoyed several cousins, a special Goddaughter, Elle, and friends.

We thank everyone for the excellent and loving care she received at Houston Healthcare, Always Caring, Majestics Oaks, & ProMedica Hospice.

The Rosary will start Friday, 31 March 2023, at 6:00 PM at McCullough located on 417 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088 followed by visitation. The Funeral Mass will start at 2:00 PM, Saturday, 1 April 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Burial will occur after the Funeral Mass at Magnolia Park – South, 605 GA Hwy 96, Bonaire, GA 31005.
