Christine Strahan Ferris, 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2007.
Mrs. Ferris was born on April 2, 1924 in Poplarville, MS. She was of the Episcopal faith. She attended Pearl River Junior College. Proudly, Christine was the first female mail carrier in Warner Robins. A resident of Warner Robins since 1953, she was a former substitute teacher at Northside High School for many years. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Francis E. Ferris, son, John Ferris, and parents, Neal and Pauline Strahan, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Ellen Swafford, Centerville; Ann Kennon, Tifton, and Mark Ferris, Bonaire; six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and special niece, Vicky Bobbitt, MS.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 20, in Magnolia Park
