Christopher Franklin McClellan, beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend, was born on January 14, 1973, at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York, to Sally A. Bryant and the late Pastor Franklin D. McClellan, Sr.

Christopher spent his early years in Buffalo before relocating with his mother as she began her military career. His childhood and teenage years took him to Maryland, Sicily, Turkey, and eventually England, where he attended Department of Defense schools and graduated from high school at the joint bases of RAF Woodbridge/RAF Bentwaters. Christopher cherished his time in England, where he formed lasting friendships with people from many different backgrounds. Following graduation, he and several close friends celebrated with a memorable trip to Spain.

Christopher later worked at the Base Exchange while taking college courses through the University of Maryland European Division. Most recently, he was employed by SPF Plastic Group in Byron, Georgia.

Christopher had a unique and creative spirit. He enjoyed playing and collecting vintage video games and consoles, discovering and reviewing restaurants and local establishments, watching wrestling, and expressing his love of music and art both as a participant and an appreciative observer. He had a personality and presence that will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Pastor Franklin D. McClellan, Sr.; grandparents Samuel Bryant and Sallie Hilson; uncles Jimmie Brooks and Douglas Bryant; and aunt Marilyn Bryant.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Sally Bryant; daughter, Christina Farnsworth; son, Christian McClellan; stepdaughter, Ashlei Farnsworth; sisters Lizann Devealt, Victoria (Kenneth) Driver, Felicia Gomes-Jennings, and Veronica (Spencer) Moore; brothers Franklin Jr. (Tiffany) McClellan and Anthony McClellan; two grandchildren; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Christopher will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for the life he shared, the memories he created, and the unique person he was. May his memory forever remain a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

A memorial gathering celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
