Christy Lopez, 38, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2006. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with burial in Athens, Alabama. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2006 from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hodac Inc, 2762 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.

Mrs. Lopez was born on December 3, 1967 in Athens, Alabama. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.

Survivors include her husband, Jesus Lopez, Warner Robins; children, Jeffery Scott Perry, Cartersville, Georgia; Alexis First, Alabama; Arcadia Lopez, Warner Robins; Alyse Lopez, Warner Robins; parents, Henry and Jane Ellen Bass, Jesup, Georgia; brother, Shawn Bass, Cartersville, Georgia; sisters, Jody First, Alabama; Stephanie Newton, Alabama; and Laura George, Alabama.
