Clyde Allen Hammonds

Clyde Hammonds, 72, entered into rest on Friday, August 19, 2016.

Clyde was born on June 23, 1944 in Macon, Georgia. He worked as a Maintenance man and was an accomplished truck driver.

His parents, John and Gurture Hammonds and brother, J.E. Hammonds, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be remembered by his loving family, Lisa Norris (Tim) of Byron, Tommy May (Karen) of Sarasota, Florida, Cheryl Pennyman of Warner Robins, Tony Hammonds, Sarasota, Florida, John Hammonds (Andrea) of Fort Valley, Tammy Pace (Eric) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Chad Mims, Storm Norris, James Norris and Hannah Norris, Dwaintavious Pennyman and Ashley Pennyman, Brandon and Devon Hammonds, Genesis and Kyra Hammonds, Shelby, Paul and Daniel Pace; siblings, Beatrice Garrett, Marie Chumley (Donald), Leander Hammonds (Mary Jo) and Clayton Hammonds (Carolyn) and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with visitation one-hour prior. Dr. Charles Michael Blizzard from Cornerstone Baptist Church, Macon, Ga. will be handling the service. The Family will meet afterwards at 101 Madison Walk, Byron, Ga.
