Carol Denise Thompson Humphrey passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Houston Medical Center at the age of 51.
Carol was born on November 6, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Clara and David Thompson. She graduated with honors from Bartlett High School in 1985 and after a year in college, she answered the call and joined the United States Air Force in 1986. Carol served honorably for 25 years and achieved the Air Force’s highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant. During this time, she received several awards to include Airman, NCO, and SNCO of the Quarter, of the Year and Major Command.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Aalyah; her sisters Regina, LaJuana, and Cheryle; brother, David; niece Jessica; nephews, Bryan, Quenton, Cameron, Kevin, Michael, Davarious and Christopher; great-niece, Jade; and great-nephew Trey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dominic Thompson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, 417 S. Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, GA 31088, with a reception to follow at the family’s home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life.
