Cmsgt Gilbert William Young, Usaf (Ret)

Gilbert Young, 82, entered into rest on Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Mr. Young was born on August 31, 1929 in Sylvester, Georgia. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force retiring as Chief Master Sergeant. His parents, Charles and Mamie Young and son, Philip Allen Young preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Dr. Jill Fuson (Dale), Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter in law, Kim Young (Warren), Fairfield, California; grandchildren, Michael Gilbert Dunn, Bee Beebe, Arkansas, Paul Allen Young, Fairfield, California, Christopher Allen Caven (Jasmine), Williamsburg, Kentucky, Hai Thai (Kim), Fairfield, California, Jana Fuson, Shreveport, Louisiana and Amber Fuson, Chattanooga, Tennessee and three great granddaughters.

Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Andersonville National Cemetery.
