Col Roka D. "Rocky" Pamperien, Usaf (Ret)

Roka Doyal "Rocky" Pamperien, 91, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 6, 2013.

Colonel Pamperien was born on June 7, 1922 in Souder, Missouri to the late Dateleis Pamperien and Opal Jewell Pamperien. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Rocky graduated from the Air Force Academy with a Bachelor's degree. With pride, courage and commitment, the Colonel served his country in the United States Air Force where he was a Pilot during World War II and the Korean Conflict. During his distinguished military career, he was also Director of Maintenance while stationed at Robins Air Force Base. Subsequent to his military retirement, he was a long time builder and owned and operated Pamperien Construction. He was instrumental in building many homes in the Houston County area.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Nell Mimbs Pamperien, Warner Robins; son, Rex Smith, Atlanta; former spouse, Thelma Pamperien, Warner Robins; and so many loving friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 511 Russell Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
