CPL Juan Bautista Rosario-Carrero, U.S. Army (Ret.), entered into rest on the morning of Friday, December 12, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born on December 12, 1934, in Aguada, Puerto Rico, Juan was the beloved son of the late Crispin Rosario-Soto and Urzula Carrero-Acevedo. After completing high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably during the Korean War. After he served, Juan retired with the rank of Corporal.

Following his military career, Juan worked in retail and built a long and rewarding career as a salesman for various companies across Puerto Rico. Juan loved cars and enjoyed both buying and working on them. He also had a passion for DYI projects, watching wrestling, and loved animals, especially dogs.

Juan will be remembered for his service, his faith, and his love for his family and community.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Mildred De Leon-Rosario (Manuel De Leon-Tirado), Noemi Martinez (Neptali Martinez-Alarcon), Johanne M. Rosario, Glendaly Burgos-Rosario (Angel L. Burgos), Juan B. Rosario (Rosa E. Guadarrama), Juan Fernando Rosario-Vazquez (Ileanette Cruz-Rivera); grandchildren, Vladimir Martinez, Vanessa Martinez, Maria I. Lopez-Rosario, Luis A. Burgos Rosario, Brianna L. Burgos Rosario, Juan Miguel Rosario, Shaidza L. Ramirez-Rosario, Juan Fernando Rosario-Cruz, Jan Gabriel Rosario-Cruz, and John Louis Rosario-Cruz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at Iglesia Cristiana Remanso de Paz on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Afterward, CPL Juan Bautista Rosario-Carrero, U.S. Army (Ret.) will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
