Cpo Amzy Davee "Chief" Tullis, Usn (Ret.)

Chief Tullis, born on January 2, 1941 in Elkhart, IN to the late John Tullis and Beatrice Tullis-Bliton, passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, March 9, 2023. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and retired having attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He went on to achieve a second retirement from Philips as a senior mechanical technician.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Andrea “Mis-chief” Tullis; his daughter, Theresa Tullis; his grandchildren, Erika Mannai, Brett Pankop and Reese Tullis; his three great-grandsons; and his sister, Charlotte Huber.

Chief will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 12 noon. For friends and family who are able to attend, please arrive at McCullough Funeral Home by 10:30 a.m. for a processional to the cemetery.
