CWO Charles L. “Chuck” Barwick, U.S. Army (Ret.), 82, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Atlanta on Thursday, December 25, 2003. Services will be private.
CWO Barwick was born in Atlanta. A 22-year veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Korean Conflict and WWII. He later also retired from civil service, having worked as an industrial engineering technician. CWO Barwick was a member of the Martha Berry Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, 50-year Member of Tyrian Lodge 111, Scottish Rite, and Al Sihah Shrine Temple, and Life Member of the VFW and DAV. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bonaire. In addition to his parents, his wife, Ethel Tidwell Barwick, preceded him in death.
