Cynthia “Cindy” Smith, 56, was called Home on Friday, December 23, 2005 at Crawford Long Hospital. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Griffin, Georgia. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and provided a foundation of love and support for all who knew her. She was of the Baptist faith. She served as a supervisor on Robins Air Force Base for 22 years. Her parents, Hugh and Betty Lynch; son, Hugh Thomas Marney; grandmother, Corene Reid; preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Michael “Micky” Smith, Warner Robins; sons, Joseph “Scott” Marney, Baltimore, Maryland; Eric Daniel Marney (Crystal), Bonaire; daughter, Michelle Ann Smith, Bonaire; brother, Steve Lynch, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Tessa Alexandra Marney; Tara Marie Marney; Patricia Brianna Marney, all of Bonaire; aunt, Betty Jean Reid, Griffin; uncle, Rayford Arnold Reid (Sybil), Douglasville; and other family members.
