Cyrus L. Bass, Jr., 53, died Friday, November 16 in Augusta, GA. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 20 in the Block House Church Cemetery in Jacksonville, GA.
Born in Abbeville, GA, Mr. Bass was previously employed with Williams Construction. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Mae Bass, Warner Robins; father, Cyrus L. Bass, Sr.; mother, Thelma Harrington, Americus; daughter, Becky Bass, Sylvester; sons, John Bass and Matthew Bass, both of Cordele; Cyrus Bass III, Reynolds; daughter, Leisa Butler, Cordele; brothers, Buddy Bass, Cordele; Rudy Bass, Americus; and sisters, Janie Harrington, Americus; Dorothy Heath, Ellaville; and Katie Pope, Buchanan, GA.
