Daniel Charles (Pharoah) Fortney, 62, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at Houston Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Fortney was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He has been a resident in Warner Robins since 1958 and attended Green Acres Baptist Church. He worked as a Brick Mason for forty years, won the Golden Glove Southeastern Amateur Boxing Championship in 1969, a Master Mason’s and past member of Tyrian Lodge. His parents, Daniel and Clara Fortney, preceded him in death.

Survivors include sons, Vincent Fortney (Erenie), California; Timothy Fortney, Warner Robins; John Fortney (Kristina), Nebraska; Daniel Fortney, Warner Robins; Mark Fortney (Francis), Iowa; three brothers; eight sisters; seventeen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
