Dante Alquiroz Almiranez, born on July 16, 1962, in Mauban, Philippines, passed away on October 20, 2025. He was the beloved son of the late Benito and Mercedes Almiranez.
Dante was a quiet, kind-hearted man whose gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. A true craftsman, he had a natural talent for working with his hands—whether fixing things around the house, tending to his vegetable garden, or creating beautiful works of art through woodburning and painting.
He had many passions that brought him peace and joy. He loved to sing and often filled the air with music while working or relaxing. A devoted fisherman, Dante could often be found by the water with a line in hand—he even made his own fishing lures, showcasing his creativity and patience.
His love for animals was deep and genuine, especially for his loyal dog, Sadie Mae, and his cat, Baggy. He also had a special fondness for hummingbirds, often taking joy in watching them flutter around his garden. He took pride in raising roosters, caring for them with the same dedication he brought to all aspects of his life.
Those who knew Dante will remember him for his quiet strength, his artistry, his love of nature, and the simple, fulfilling way he lived his life. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate to share in his warmth and kindness.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Bella Almiranez; children, Danbel A. Towse (David), Benny Almiranez, Louie Junel Almiranez, Jesstonnie Almiranez, Louie Albert Almiranez, Lhoy Vince Almiranez, Trish Arabella Almiranez, and Daberiel Almiranez; grandchildren, Julienne Louise Almiranez and Yanah Almiranez; siblings, Lolita Pagano and Zeny Envase; and beloved dog, Sadie Mae.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterward, Dante will be laid to rest in privately.
