David Bartlett, 62, entered into rest on Friday, December 25, 2015.
David was born on December 29, 1952 in Waynesboro, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He retired from Brown and Williamson and Reynolds American Tobacco Co. after many years of employment. An avid automobile enthusiast, David built hot rods for years and enjoyed working in his shop. A man that never met a stranger, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time fishing. David was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Albany and most recently attended First Baptist Church of Bonaire.
His parents, Homer Clyde and Jeanette Bartlett; sister, Acklin Stone and stepson, Jason Anderson, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Linda Crompton Bartlett; sons, Chris Bartlett (Audrey) of Albany, Jesse Bartlett of Warner Robins and stepson, Garrett Anderson of Eatonton; grandchildren; Dylan Bartlett, Chance Bartlett, Mykenzy Bartlett, Raquel Bartlett, Austin Anderson, Mallory Anderson and Jacob Anderson; siblings, Steve Bartlett (Lisa) and Nancy Standerfer, both of Albany and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 3:00 p.m. in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
