David Richard “DB” Bray, 86, entered into rest on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
David was born on June 28, 1937, in Patchogue, Long Island, New York to the late Roland and Dorothy Bray. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and honorably served his country for four years. While stationed at Robins Air Force Base, he met his love, Dicy Faye. They were married in July of 1958 and raised their family together in Warner Robins, spending a wonderful 52 years together. David went on to work at Robins Air Force Base as a civil servant doing computer operations. In his free time, he enjoyed carpentry and the outdoors. He spent a lot of time making additions to the family home and spent many weekends hunting and fishing with family members and friends, often filling the freezer with the fruits of his labor. His family is thankful for the skills and knowledge he bestowed upon them growing up, along with his immense love and support for them.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Howell Bray, and sister, Carol F. Bray.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Rick Bray of Bonaire, Vicky Meeks (Mickey) of Bonaire, and Lori Gorny (Bruce) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, April Meeks of Buckhead, Michael Meeks (Emily) of Augusta, Matthew Meeks of Savannah, and Claire Gorny of Warner Robins; great-grandchildren, Madison Meeks, and Obi Meeks, both of Augusta; and brother, Bill Bray (Becky) of Alpharetta.
