David Earl Mills

David Earl Mills, 65, of Tifton, GA, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2023, in Bonaire, GA. David was born on November 25, 1957, to his loving parents Johnnie and Gwen Mills.

David is survived by his wife, Carmen (Mickey) Mills, his daughters, Melisa and Katharine Mills, his grandsons, Gavyn Jewell and Rowen Averett, his granddaughters, Riley Ogletree, Kinzleigh Moore, and Ava Mae Lynn, his sister, Linda Diane Flint, his brother, Johnnie Thomas (Tommy) Mills, and several aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.

As a mechanic, David’s career was a testament to his exceptional skills and dedication. He learned the trade from his father at a young age, instilling in him a passion for doing things right the first time. A self-taught fabricator, David’s work always aimed for perfection. His genius and ability to fix anything were well-known, and he gladly helped anyone in need.

David and his wife were able to live their dream together, cherishing every moment and leaving behind no regrets. He was a devoted and loving husband, a dream to be with. David touched the lives of those around him with his kind and compassionate nature. David was greeted at the Golden Gates by his parents, his daughter, Jessica Mills, aunts, uncles, and friends.

In remembrance of David, an informal memorial will be held at his home in Bonaire, Georgia. The memorial will take place on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Anyone and everyone who knew and loved David are invited to come and share their favorite memories. Everyone will have the opportunity to write a personal message on a balloon to David; we will then release the balloons together as a symbol of remembrance, honor, and love.

David will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ will forever be cherished. May he rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord.
