David Glenn Bates-Mangee, 61, of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 17, 2026, in the comfort of his home in Warner Robins, Georgia.

David was born on December 15, 1964, in Williamstown, New Jersey. He was a dedicated son and father who had a strong passion for business and an unwavering commitment to every customer he served.

He was a devoted fan of all Philadelphia sports teams and had a deep love for traveling. David enjoyed the energy and liveliness of cities and appreciated the unique history each place had to offer.

He valued tradition, loved entertaining family and friends, and especially enjoyed cooking. One of his favorite questions to ask was, “What did you have for dinner last night?”

David was witty and possessed a unique sense of humor that often left people wondering whether he was serious or joking.

He was born and raised in Williamstown, New Jersey, before later moving to Levittown, Pennsylvania, where he raised his family.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. Bates; his father, Glenn Mangee; and his stepson, Brian Emeigh.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Mangee; his stepson, Kenneth Emeigh; and his seven grandchildren: Madison, Anna, Paige, Giovanni, Ethan, Abel, and Vinny.

A special acknowledgment is extended to David’s employer, Frank Kovac, owner of Simar Enterprises. Frank was far more than an employer to David. The two shared a special bond built on mutual respect as businessmen and as friends. David truly valued the friendship they developed throughout the many years they worked together.
