David Craig Roland, Jr.

Early on the morning of Friday, December 29, 2023, David Roland, Jr., 41, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.

David was born on June 11, 1982, in Warner Robins, Georgia to his loving parents, David "Craig" Roland, Sr. and Sandra Wilcox. A natural arborist, he was enthusiastic about tree work and made it his full-time career. David enjoyed fishing, hog hunting, listening to music, and making people laugh. He had a passion for vehicles and loved his car and chevy trucks. You could always count on David to bring humor while making fun with his friends and family. David was blessed to be a dad to his son, Landon, whom he loved with all of his heart. A true Christian, David loved his Lord and was eager to grow his relationship with Christ.

His memory will forever be treasured by his only son, Landon Roland; mother and stepfather, Sandi and Chris Wilcox; father, Craig Roland; sisters, Erin Roland, Kristen Roland, A’nna Wilcox; brother, Loukas Wilcox; nieces, Brooklyn and Chloe Cumbie; grandmother, Peggy Miller and numerous extended family members, including six aunts, four uncles and twenty-two cousins.

Visitation with David’s family will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with the funeral service celebrating his life following at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. Family and friends are welcome to attend David’s graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Black Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 673 Sparta Hwy NE, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061.
