David “Davey” Paul Wilson, Jr., 25, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
Davey was born on April 18, 2000, in Columbus, Mississippi. He graduated from Veterans High School in 2019, where he was an accomplished trumpet player in the band. He continued his education at Middle Georgia State University, where he was currently studying information technology. Most recently, he was working as a civil servant in the health and wellness division at the recreation department on Robins Air Force Base.
A true tech enthusiast, Davey had a passion for all things computer related, building computers from scratch and modifying software systems. He especially loved 3D printing models, building legos, and immersing himself in video games. When he wasn’t in front of a screen, he enjoyed spending quiet moments hunting, fishing, and cherished the time he shared with his family and close friends.
His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, David Paul Wilson, Sr. of Warner Robins and Maria Lempsink (Gus) of Warner Robins; brothers, Andrew Wilson and Bradley Wilson, both of Warner Robins; grandparents, Jose and Maria Del Carmen Villarruel of Ecuador; and aunt, Grace Wilson of Austin, Texas, along with many other loving family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
