Deborah Arlene Cook

January 30, 1958 — November 2, 2025

Warner Robins

Deborah Cook, 67, of Warner Robins, Georgia, gained her wings and got her crown on November 2, 2025, at 12:18 p.m., peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Deborah, born in Fort Worth, TX, had a passion for ceramics, cooking, and reading, but her true love was God and her family. Deborah stood firm on her faith and the foundation of the gospel and obeyed Acts 2:38. To many, she was known as “Dede,” but her true joy was when her first-born granddaughter, Aeriell, called her “Nana.”

She was preceded in death by her precious blue-eyed son, Timothy Allen Cook; mother-in-law, Ruth Sawyer Cook; father-in-law, MSgt. Kenneth Cook, USAF (Ret.); her brother-in-law, Charles S. (Bubba) Cook; grandparents, Arthur and Maybelle Gibby; and Hazel McGhee English.

Her loving memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 45 years, CMSgt. Kenneth M. Cook, USAF (Ret.); her daughter and best friend, SaraJean Cook Jones (Rev. Michael Jones); her grandchildren and heartbeats, Aeriell Michelle Cook and Timothy Michael Cook (fiancée Janylah); and her pride and joys, her great-grandbabies, Josiah, Grayson, Carmelo, Paisley, Magnolia, and Ivy.

She is also survived by her parents, CMSgt. Cecil P. Gibby, USAF (Ret.) and Betty J. Gibby; her brothers, Pastor Alan Gibby aka "baby brother" (Terri), and Kenneth Gibby (Regina); and her sister-in-law, Missy O’Brien (Dan), who was like her sister; and Rebecca A. McClellan (Tom); her two nephews, whom she loved as though they were her own, Bobby Gibby (Megan), and Charles Gibby (Brandi); along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
