Delphia Jo Nelson

Warner Robins – Delphia Nelson, 80, entered into rest on May 7, 2009. Mrs. Nelson was born on January 8, 1929, in Quinlan, Texas. Her husband Robert John Nelson and parents, Felix Edgar Griffin and Lynna Alice Griffin, preceded her in death.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and enjoyed doing ceramics and flower arranging. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church was her church home.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, daughters Teresa Mitchell, Warner Robins; Sally Wallace, Canton; Roberta Permenter, Kathleen; son, Jeff Nelson, Dallas; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister Reeta Johnson, Fort Worth, Texas

Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009, in the chapel of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Pastor David Brighton officiating. Interment will be at Andersonville National Cemetery.
