Dennis Jay Acuff

Jay Acuff, 57, entered into rest on Saturday, April 18, 2009.

Mr. Acuff was born on July 20, 1951, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked as a project manager for the Georgia Department of Transportation. His parents, William Howard Acuff and Mary Taylor Starnes and brothers, Frederick Starnes and Michael Acuff, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his brothers, Robert Samples, Fayettville, Georgia, Steve Acuff (Pauline), Bonaire, Andy Acuff, Jacksonville, Florida, Thomas Starnes (Cindy), David Starnes (Barbara) both of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kenneth Acuff (Kathy), Tullahoma, Tennessee; sister, Geri Malone, Decatur, Alabama and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
