Donald J. Sellers

Donald J. Sellers, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, Mr. Sellers was a retired SMSgt. from the United States Air Force and a retired Aircraft Mechanic at Robins Air Force Base. He proudly served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Sellers was a member of the Air Force Sergeant’s Association and the VFW. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in North Carolina. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Ottie Sellers.

Survivors include wife, Mary L. Sellers, Bonaire; daughter, Donna L. Thompson (Kirk), and grandson, John H. Thompson, Warner Robins; sisters, Ruth Hinson, Wadesboro, NC; Ina Moore, Charlotte, NC; Dorothy Certain, Gastonia, NC.
