Donna Ruth Thomas

Donna R. Thomas, 80, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016.

Donna was born on April 3, 1935 in Prospect, Ohio to the late Henry and Shirley Ganson Plotner. She was very active member in her church the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Donna was care giver for patients in home care for many years before her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and anything that involved spending time with her beloved family.

Along with her parents; her husband, Merle Eugene Thomas; son, Merele Eugene Thomas, Jr. and his wife Janice Thomas, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Cheryl Spell (Johnny) of Cochran; Roger Thomas (Saundra) of Macon; Debbie Manning (David) of Pace, Florida; Vickie Neff (Johnny) of Macon; Melinda Wilson (Wendell) of Fort Valley; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; as well as, sisters, Ruby Seiter of Marion, Ohio; Joyce Plotner of Morristown, Tennessee; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Donna will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Donna Thomas to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2821 Moody Road, Bonaire, Ga 31005.
