Doreen Newlin

Doreen Newlin, 81, entered into rest on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Doreen was born on November 5, 1941, in Baldock, England to the late Ronald and Janet Stacey. She was a sweet and independent lady who led a healthy lifestyle. She was a military wife who loved traveling. She moved to Warner Robins in 1970, where she remained throughout the rest of her life. Here, she worked for and retired from Kmart. She was very active with her husband in the VFW and the American Legion. In her free time, she loved to play bingo.

In addition to her parents, Doreen was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Newlin, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Orville Newlin, III (Holly), Shannon Roberts, and Karen Butler (Chris); grandchildren, Haley Adamar, Krista Melton, Amber Campbell, C.J. Gregory, and Xander Danny; along with 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. At a later date, Doreen will be laid to rest with her husband, Orville Newlin, Jr. in Andersonville National Cemetery.
