Doris Downs, 78, died Thursday, December 27 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 29 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Downs was born in Fall River, MA. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard Downs, Sr., and her parents, Raymond and Delena Coutu.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Downs, Simi Valley, CA; Michele Helm, Lancaster, CA; son, William Downs, Jr., Byron; brothers and sisters, Raymond Coutu, CA; Gertrude Thibeautt, CA; Leonard Coutu, CA; Alice Lohss, FL; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
