Dorothy Harriet "Dotsie" Mercer

Dorothy Harriet "Dotsie" Mercer, 88, entered into rest on Sunday, September 15, 2013.

Dotsie was born on March 18, 1925 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Leroy Mercer and Isabelle Brent Mercer. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Iowa City, Iowa and Faith Lutheran Church after moving to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1993.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sister, Mary E. Dawson and John Dawson (husband), Santa Barbara California; their children, Ed Sayre, Iowa City, Iowa; Frank Dawson, M.D. and wife Cheryl, Thousand Oaks, California;, John Dawson, Jr., D.C. and wife, Susan, Santa Barbara, California and Dotty Dawson) Woodward and Chuck Woodward, Byron, Georgia; cousins, the Feddersen family and the Bywater family. Her gentle spirit, joy of life, and faith in Christ was evident to all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church in Warner Robins. Interment will be private.
