Dorothy J. Plunkett

Dorothy J. Plunkett, 74, entered into rest on Sunday, January 9, 2011.

Mrs. Plunkett was born on November 18, 1936 in Cordele, Georgia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonaire. Dorothy retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked as an administrative assistant in civil service. Her parents, Wesley and Bessie Varnadore Kelly, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, William Rufus Plunkett; children, William Russell Plunkett (Jean), Terry Plunkett, David W. Plunkett, and Wayne Plunkett (Connie), all of Bonaire; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, January 13, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
