Dorothy Lillian Folsom

Dorothy Lillian Folsom, 81, entered into rest at home surrounded by family, on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.

Mrs. Folsom was born on April 5, 1928 in Buford. A housewife, she was a devout Christian and past president of the Women Aglow of Georgia. She was predeceased by her husband of twenty-five years, Robert Folsom, Jr., and parents, Uel Roebuck and Florence Overby Roebuck.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters and son, Janice Stroup (Don), Cochran; Sherry Ganas (Chris), Vero Beach, Florida; Robyn Kelly (Mike), Kathleen, and Penny Whiddon (John), Perry; Robert Folsom, III (Jennifer), Perry; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, November 13, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens. .
