Dorothy G. Ammons, 60, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at Southside Baptist Church, with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Southside Baptist Church building fund 1040 S. Houston Lake Rd, Warner Robins, Ga. 31088

Mrs. Ammons was born in Waycross, Ga. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was employed as a teacher at Robins Elementary. Her father, Grover Gillard, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Ammons; daughter, April (Jim) Green, Warner Robins; son, Trey Ammons, Bonaire; mother, Velma B. Gilliard, Bonaire, three grandchildren; Sarah, Joey, and Jillian Green.
