Scott was born on October 8, 1942 in Ringgold, LA. Scott was the owner of S&B Construction.
He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Marlys; daughters, Sherry Mathews of Bossier City, LA; Lynette Elliott of Huntsville, MO; Criste Freymond of Lincoln, CA; son, Brent Steele of Crumpler, NC; sister, Joann Mazyck of Benton, LA; brothers, Billy, Jimmy and Jerry of Bossier City, LA; twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends and great neighbors.
Services will be private.
