Mr. Carter was born in Randolf County in Alabama on November 25, 1935. He proudly served his country in the U. S. He will forever live in the hearts of his wife of 55 years, Shirley Carter, Warner Robins; daughter, Denise Runyon (George), Warner Robins; son, Charlie Carter (Cecilia), Dublin; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren, sister, Bobbie Crutchfield, Evans, Georgia; and many nephews and nieces.
