Eddie Sneed, Sr.

Eddie Sneed, Sr., 55, entered into rest on Sunday, July 26, 2009.

Mr. Sneed was born on January 4, 1954, in Santurce, Puerto Rico. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army as an Enlisted Aid and retired with the rank of Sergeant First Class. His church home was Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife Delia Sneed; parents, Roberto Sneed and Carmen Vazques; children, Eddie Sneed, Jr., (Sharon) and Zamarit Sneed Simpkins (Dean); step-children, Darlene Egarra Castro (Victor) and Clifford Egarra (Adela); grandchildren, Sabrina Mari Simpkins and Lila Deane Simpkins; and step-grandchildren, Skye Castro and Victor A. Castro. Mr. Sneed also was survived by Maritza Sneed, mother of Eddie Jr. and Zamarit Sneed.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Mike Slade officiating.
