Edith Perry, 77, joined her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert Franklin Perry, in heaven on the evening of Sunday, November 26, 2017.
Edith was born on June 4, 1940 in Buford, Georgia to the late Morris and Lona Belle Britt and was of the Baptist faith. She attended Warner Robins High School and went on to serve as an auxiliary policewoman in the 1960’s. Edith then worked in production at Anchor Glass from where she retired. In her free time, she enjoyed bowling, reading, cooking, flowers, and doting on her cat, “Daisy.”
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Janet Eddings (Allan) of Fayetteville and David Perry (Mary) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Mandy Clare, Jason Hamilton, Mathew and Michael Eddings, and Rob Perry.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Johnny Ellison officiating. Following the service, Edith will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
