Edmond "Paten" Tolbert, 60, entered into rest on August 5, 2008. Mr. Tolbert was born on November 25, 1947, in Griffin. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as a painter and was an active member of the Sons of the Legion – Post 172. His parents, Edmond J. Tolbert and Lorene Kilgo Simmons, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Burnette Martin Tolbert; brothers, V. Jerry Tolbert (Margaret), Newnan, and L. Glenn Tolbert (Peggy), Warner Robins; and sister, M. Carol Tolbert, Spotsylvania, Virginia.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2008, at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
