Edna Davis Collins

December 28, 1935 — June 22, 2025

Warner Robins

Edna Davis Collins, 89, of Warner Robins, Georgia, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on June 22, 2025.

Born on December 28, 1935, Edna lived a life marked by faith, love, and service to others. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Capt. John W. Collins; parents, Ober and Nellie Davis; and siblings, Laverne Fowler, Betty Boatwright (Sonny), Billy Joe Davis (Winifred), and Patricia Hart.

A devoted mother, Edna leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Brenda Gautlney (Rusty), Wayne Collins (B.J.), Robin Collins, Angela Stitt (Chuck), and Greg Collins (Suni). She was affectionately known as “Memaw” to her cherished grandchildren, Alisha Fielder (Jeff), Ashley Singleton (Rustin), Blake Collins, Amanda Collins, Christina Noles (Jaime), John Daniel Stinger (Hillary), Austin Stitt, Amber Stitt, Kinley Stitt, Christian Collins, Anna McNure (Cade), and Kirsten Owens. Her family grew even larger with the joy of 20 great-grandchildren, each one blessed to know her love.

Edna retired from a career in the medical field, where she cared for others with kindness and compassion. She had a special talent for flower arranging and found joy in camping and, most of all, spending time with her family.

A faithful member of Second Baptist Church, Edna lived a life rooted in her Christian faith. She sang in the church choir, taught Sunday School, and served through WMU and Sunbeams. Her love for the Lord shone through in every aspect of her life and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to her Hospice Care Options team for their compassionate and dedicated care during her final days.
