Edward Battie, 93, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2005 at Warner Robins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2005 at Faith Temple Full Gospel Tabernacle with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Battie was born on April 7, 1912 in Toombs County, Georgia. He was a member of Faith Temple Full Gospel Tabernacle. His wife, Lula M. Battie; parents, Edmond and Ella Battie, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Annie Ruth Harris, Deerfield Beach, Florida; Lottie Mae Lee, Miami, Florida; sons, James Battie, Fayetteville, North Carolina; Walter Battie, Warner Robins; eight grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
