Elaine Benefield Mclemore

Elaine McLemore, 68, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015.

Elaine was born on August 30, 1946 in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of Cochran Field Church of God where she worshiped for many years. Elaine lived in Warner Robins for 38 years, owning and operating her own business of furniture and appliance repair. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, putting her green thumb to work in her garden, and above all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Her husband, Robert McLemore, Sr., and parents, Robert E. and Grace Hardy Benefield, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Robbie Grace Manning (John) of Macon, Connie Grimes of Warner Robins, Robert Allen McLemore, Jr. (Tasha) of Cochran; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and siblings, Phyllis Etheridge (Raymond) of Gordon, Wayne Benefield (Gaye) Of Macon, Horace Benefield (Kaye) of Ivy, and Delma Benefield of Macon.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the chapel of Cochran Field Church of God. Interment will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Ramah Church Cemetery in Gordon, Georgia.
