Eldon Loyd Bridges, age 97, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025. Born on April 12, 1928, in Cayote, Texas, Eldon lived a long and faithful life devoted to his family, church, community and the Lord.

A proud Korean veteran, Eldon was disabled during the Korean Conflict while being shelled by enemy forces. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to government work until he retired at the age of 55.

In retirement, he fully embraced life; he picked up golf, enjoyed the open road his wife, Pat, in their R.V., and took delight in serving others. A regular fixture in Warner Robins, Eldon was a volunteer at the local food closet and helped distribute food to those in need. His generosity and dedication left a lasting impact on everyone he served.

A man of faith, Eldon was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. He played an instrumental role in helping build several of the church's structures and sang in the choir for many years. Throughout his life, his love for the church and its mission never wavered, and he continued to serve the Lord in every way he could. Eldon was also committed to staying healthy; he was active and regularly attending Max Fitness until only a few months ago. Eldon was an inspiration to many who knew him and lived life well. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, servants' heart, and his steadfast devotion to his family, church, and community. Eldon leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, love and was an inspiration to many who knew him.

Eldon was married to Patricia Bridges for 69 years until her passing on August 23 of 2021. His son, Curtis Wayne Bridges proceeded to him and death in 2005.

Eldon is survived by daughters, Brenda Walraven (Les), Linda Damjanovic (Milan); grandkids, Jason Walraven (Beth), Julie Kuykendall (Matt) Stephen Damnjanovic, Drew Damnjanovic, Serena Damnjanovic, and Bryce Damnjanovic; and great-grandkids, Luke, Nicholas, Jackson, Aidan, Avery, Anna and Ethan.
