Elizabeth B. Peavy

Elizabeth B. Peavy, the 80 year old mother of Grady Folendore, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at her residence. Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 6 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Rev. James Emory Lindsey and Danny Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, March 5 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Peavy was born January 5, 1924 in Sandersville, GA the daughter of the late Mark Newman Brookins and Marie J Brookins. She was retired from Central State Hospital, Milledgeville, GA, where she worked as a patient representative. Mrs. Peavy was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville.

Survivors include her son, Grady M. Folendore, Warner Robins; daughter, Rachel Brewer, Warner Robins, son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Betsie Folendore, Milledgeville; daughter Marie Ali, Augusta; sister, Doris Bragg, Jacksonville, FL; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
